Welcome to the World of Eveline Frings

Amidst deep forests, with valleys and meadows high and low, in the foothills of the Vogelsberg, lies a medieval town of great beauty.

Long, long ago, when our world was still young, in the days of knights in shining armour and maidens fair - it was halfway though the 12th century: the period of the Hohenstaufer emperors - a fortress surrounded by strong protective walls and a deep moat was built by the lords and princes of zu Ysenburg and Buedingen.

Over the years the castle expanded as did the romantic town, with its timber framed houses and narrow cobblestone streets. A church was built in Gothic splendour, who's bells still now, ring in hourly harmony. During the 18th century, a majestic park as added to the castle grounds where still today, an air of mystery and magic can be sensed, while strolling beneath the overhanging branches of ancient oak trees.

Here, not far from the Castle grounds, at the source of old history, inspired by myths and legends of long ago, lives the Austrian born Artist Eveline Frings with her daughter Mira. Throughout the past 20 years, she has worked and experimented with many different forms and styles of art, including sculpting, painting and photography. Her internationally acclaimed sculptures are mostly of pensive young women, draped in antique silks and laces. They inspire a mood of contemplation and quiet reflection, inviting the soul to linger. With their unusual aura, mesmerizing and strangely enchanting, they seek to lure the heart into a world of soul and into the far reaches of time past and present.
